The Human Rights Council held its end of the year review and preparatory session this week to discuss activities for 2021. Human Rights Council President Elisabeth Tichy Fisslberger of Austria, and the Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva, Tatiana Valovaya, gave an update on the resources for conferences services.
The Human Rights Council was the only Geneva-based UN organization that was able to complete its work programme for 2020, despite COVID-19 restrictions, stated Ms. Valovaya.
