The Human Rights Council held its year-end organisational session this week to discuss activities for 2021. Human Rights Council President Elisabeth Tichy Fisslberger of Austria, and the Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva, Tatiana Valovaya, gave an update on the resources for conferences services. The Human Rights Council was the only Geneva-based UN organization that was able to complete its work programme for 2020, despite COVID-19 restrictions.
