UN Women: Opening of #GenerationEquality Forum Paris

The event takes place in Paris and online, from 30 June to 2 July, with a line up of writers, academics, businesses leaders from the African continent, the US, France.

Women entrepreneurs and diplomats from Afghanistan, South Sudan, and Syria, spoke today about the impact of violence on women and business in the region.

It started today and will go till Friday, 2 of July.

The event is organized by UN Women with the support of the Mexican and the French governments, and the private sector. UN Women, you guessed it, is the UN Agency for protecting and advocating the rights of women.
