The UN Brief interviewed Maximillian Jacobson–Gonzalez, Senior Communications Officer, who, for the last 10 years, has been leading audio-visual production at the International Telecommunication Union, ITU – the United Nations specialized agency for Information and Communication Technologies.
Jacobson-Gonzalez previous career milestones include directing award-winning theatrical productions across several continents, notably as resident director of the world’s longest running musical, Les Miserables, for its Irish and Scottish premieres, and as television producer and director for global documentaries and series broadcast to millions of viewers on channels including BBC World News, and the Discovery Channel.
While running his own television and film production company he also produced corporate and advocacy content for international organisations including UNHCR, WHO, ILO, UNDP and other UN agencies.
