International Women’s Day a Stark Reminder of How Much Remains to be Done

War on Women was a slogan, used by Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, and US Senator Barbara Boxer, as part of a campaign by the US Democratic party to describe Republican policies that denied women their basic civil rights, in 2010. Today, unfortunately, the tagline could still be used and expanded to include lack of economic support to women. Not only in America.
As we mark another International Women’s Day and we look at the figures in terms of venture capital investment in women, we see the numbers have not improved.
Actually, they fell slightly compared with 2019 and 2018, according to PitchBook.
