This week we have a guest post from former EU Ambassador John Clarke.

He was, till last October, EU’s chief agriculture negotiator and previously the EU’s Head of Delegation to the WTO and the UN in Geneva.

Ambassador Clarke negotiated the EU-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement, and the EU-China Geographical Indication (GI) Agreement among many others in his long and distinguished career as a EU diplomat.

He speaks about the agrifood sector, resilience, sustainability, trade, and the three Cs.
