The Web Summit is arguably one of the top 10 tech conferences in Europe. This year it was held in 100% virtual mode, hosted with the company’s very own proprietary software developed at the speed of lightning in a couple of months.

The entire summit took place over three days, to bring people together to network online. Not sure how all that worked. It feels stilted in someways to start a conversation with someone online, nothing beats the easy complexity of real life. One can gauge interest in multiple ways, from a shrug to a facial expression unmediated by a camera.
