The Web Summit wrapped up last week. I was accredited this year again, and The UN Brief decided to focus on one great topic.

The Web Summit is arguably one of the top 10 tech conferences in Europe. This year it was held in 100% virtual mode, hosted with the company’s very own proprietary software developed at the speed of lightning in a couple of months.

The entire summit took place over three days, to bring people together to network online. Not sure how all that worked. It feels stilted in someways to struck a conversation with a stranger online, nothing beats the easy complexity of real life. One can gauge interest in multiple ways from a shrug to a facial expression unmediated by a camera.
